pesfowl and guinnies

I put 4 bales of hay in their pen. 1 I spread on the floor, the other I stacked in the north side of the building. I hope it keeps them warm. I put 2 long roosts up, 1 low 1 for the Guinnies, and a tall one for the peas. The peas prefer laying on the hay bales, and the Guinnies like the roosts!

Don't know how much rain ya get but mucking wet hay out of a pen can be very hard and smell real bad if it gets moldy, I use shavings, it is just as cheep as a bail of hay here and just packs down when it gets wet, no smells.

I put the hay in their house and it is dry. The run us open and fenced. I made sure that no rain etc. can get in their house. The peas around their heads are not completely feathered. So, I put a heat lamp in their house. It got down to 35• here! We had a frost last night!

Good deal

It is 60 degrees and it poored down rain on the peas most of the night but they would rather sleep outside than under cover, silly birds

I am located in Edmond, Ok . Half way between Edmond and Guthrie. If they are within 24 hrs of hatching it is safe to ship them. I would not take a chance on anything older. I have received them at that age and did real well.
