Just bought today at tractor supply it was sealed well and everything, and of course, expensive. This is my first time trying this brand, and they’re very tiny bugs infested. Still edible for my 4 month old chicks? Or no?

They are weevils. I would suggest freezing the food for a couple of days before feeding it. My last purina bag had the same thing

I'd bring it back. The issue is their whole stock COULD have the same issue. I've bought a lot of cluck & co, never had that problem so hopefully it's nothing ongoing for you. But once you exchange it I'd just inspect it before leaving the store.

With flour, you freeze the flour. The eggs will not hatch- they can't go through a winter. Plus, you are going to cook the flour. If they have already hatched, you through it out. When there were just eggs, you would not have seen them. The bag of feed was on the shelf long enough for the eggs to hatch and the larvae enough time to eat the feed so they got big enough for you to see. Take it back.
