for the poultry dust, do you pour it over the coop and/or the chickens?

I have dusted the birds but I have a backpack sprayer and IF I notice any pest I thoroughly spray inside the coops everywhere, every crack and crevice with permethin concentrate mixed with water. I have several coops so this works best for me. I like the wand for getting into hard to reach places. I do weekly sprays for 3/4 weeks. I do use the dust in the nest boxes. The bonus is there is no egg withdrawal period. I do get the birds outside the coops and shut them for a little while to let the spray dry.

Canadian here. Dealing with northern fowl mites. Not able to get any of the meds/produbst you guys have, but found this and may be able to get my hands on some. We are SO very limited here with what we can find for treatment for mites. It’s crazy.
Does anyone know if it will work for chickens??

Any information or help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
