So, me and my family cleaned up our acre lot from debri and cement piles but there's so many bugs (cockroaches, silver fish, etc..) I have 20 chickens and they did a good job eating alot of the bugs running to hide, today at night time we took a flashlight out to refill our pond with a water hose and instantly so many bugs starting crawling through the grass and weeds my parents are thinking of getting insect killer pellets and spread it all through the yard!! Will this harm my chickens or how long should I wait till its safe for them to go back outside:(

Yes, pesticides can harm or kill your chickens. Even if they don't die would you want to eat eggs with traces of pesticide? I think if you could spray the area with a bleach solution it will kill a lot of bugs on contact. The bleach will dissipate rather quickly. If you get enough chickens they will take care of a lot of bugs without the need for pesticides.
