My duck is from a nest of the ducks that live in the wild by my house. they are a mix breed of indian runners. but is it normal that they try to attack my duck when i bring him to interact ? When they are eating they dont mind him around but without food they try to attack him. the first time i didnt see it comin and the male duck grabbed my duck by its neck.

(My duck is a male)

Even if those wild ducks are his parents ?
These ducks that live by you are mixed Indian Runner so not wild just most likely dumped? they view your duck as an intruder. What are your plans for your duck? are you wanting these adults to accept your duck so he can become a part of their flock? They have no idea he is one of theirs. They just see him as an intruder. Getting them used to your duck takes time.

My duck has wet feather so he can not go in their flock. But i thought that he might liked to see other ducks but he doesnt look at them. He gives more attention to the cats and dogs. (problably because he lives with a cat and dog at home)
I call them wild because they live here for over 3 years.

But should i still go to the other ducks with him or am i just bothering them and my duck with it?
