Making small talk in a drive-thru. There are several large chains who emphasize employees making chit-chat at the window while they handle your food and cash. No. Just, no. Gimme my fire lizard lemonade and let me be, Dutch Bros barista!

I don't mind a little brief engagement, but it really bugs me when teeny-bopper girls in the drive-up window call me "Sweetie." It's demeaning and insulting. Call me "ma'am."

This is honestly one of my biggest fears in life. I do know a lot, and my personality is to be a helpful person and share what I know. I try very hard to he helpful and not annoying, but you never know who may take offense And not saying I think you mean me here, but just something I struggle with constantly.

I don't think a Passive-Aggressive Know-It-All would worry about it. I think you're okay, AZ. Those folks tend to go on and on, arguing and never "shuttuppin." Have not seen that in you.
