Pet Peeves

I can understand how you could like wine, and hard stuff, but I also dont understand why you would want to be drunk

thats like downgrading your bodily function for a few hours and then feeling like crap half the next day
somebody that likes it tell me why
Many don't want to be drunk. They want to be "buzzed" for as long as possible. Sadly, the body doesn't work that way. Alcohol takes a long time to process and will build up your blood alcohol level behind your back. Now you're drunk. Oops.

As for liking it? @BigBlueHen53 gave some insightful comments on the nature of addiction. Your brain will rewrite itself, requiring alcohol as a prerequisite for happiness or relaxation. It will fixate on this one thing and pitch a fit until it gets it. I have an immense amount of respect and admiration for anyone that overcomes alcohol (or any) addiction. I'm sure there's exceptions, but most addicts are not happy people.

Best to never drink. If you are going to drink, learn what a unit of alcohol actually is, come up with a limit, and stick to it.

Also, for those who know, IWNDWYT.

The printing on my tag-less tank tops washed off, and now I can't tell which side is front and which is back.
I have a pair of pants with no tag or string or anything and IDK what side is front either 🤣😭 but luckily they’re like a flowy, loose, elasticy type where it doesn’t really matter what side is front or back cause they’re basically identical but still. Would be nice to know… LOL

My pet peeve? People who show up to a get-together empty handed, eat like it’s their last meal, pack to-go plates before the food even cools… and don’t lift a finger to help clean up.

Like… you came with nothing, you’re leaving with everything, and you contributed zero in between. Potluck etiquette is apparently a dying art. 🫠
