If I’m asked what kind I’d like at a friends house, I usually respond “whichever one is open” lol.

I tell ya, it’s one extreme or the other at schools. Used to discipline with rulers (not me just in general), but now parents call the school if you look at their kid sideways…what happened to the middle? Appropriate discipline and respect?
