Pet Peeves

My kids will not eat pork bacon. When they were little there was some kind of extreme healthy eating thing going on in my household. They were given turkey bacon and now that is all they will eat when they eat bacon, but even that is rare. They do not like the taste of pork bacon.

Personally, I was raised on it and always loved it. And, as Isadora stated, homegrown bacon is the best, but today I rarely eat any kind of bacon. I can take it or leave it. That goes for the turkey bacon as well.

When people stop in heavily used doorways to hold a conversation.

I always wanted to build a doorway in the middle of an interstate highway and reduce some of this population.

I trapped this one for girl I work with. It had made a Den under her house and messed up some duct work and wiring and basically freaking her out.

My husband trapped one because it was digging up and eating his grandmother's flower bed.

I take them to a safer Place for them but the reason I need them out of here is because they dig holes holes that are quite huge, in places they shouldn't dig them, For example on 2 sides of me are about 30 horses and if a horse is running and breaks its leg because of a groundhog hole & needs to be shot, I would be devastated. They dug holes under one of my my sheds, and the thing now looks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The people that own the horses have been known to shoot them, so at least I am giving them a chance for a peaceful life elsewhere. I would imagine when I relocate a groundhog, he runs up the other groundhogs I already relocated there... probably greet him saying "Hey Bob where have you been?"

Yesterday someone pulling in stopped their vehicle to chat with someone pulling out of our road...Holding up 4 cars waiting to get out onto the main road, & 2 cars trying to turn turn onto this little road off of the main road... The dude was just sitting there blocking the intersection to have a freaking conversation... I guess he figured he's got Nowhere to go, and all day to get there, Why should he hurry for any one else?
