Here they dig holes in horse and cattle paddocks, and they can step in the hole and break a legMy husband trapped one because it was digging up and eating his grandmother's flower bed.
I'm in hillbilly land. Two lane roads and nothing to see.How about the "tourons" that drive down the road gawking at all of the outlet stores, while going 50mph...I see vehicles zoom right through red lights, heads turned & eyes glued to everything EXCEPT the road on which they're driving. Then add pedestrians, bicycles & mopeds to the mix.
Yup, scary.
He's also as old as the soil the crops are sewed in.I'm in hillbilly land. Two lane roads and nothing to see.
But my neighbor insists on gawking into the fields crops or not.
He never watches the road and can be on his side, my side or the middle at any given time. For a couple years now I've been in the habit of honking when I start approaching him just to make sure he looks and sees me.
We're friendly folk out here so when he looks up we both wave and pass. He has no clue.
I don't think he's quite as old as dirt but imagine he was around when it was a luxury item. He's also as old as the soil the crops are sewed in.

People replying to threads with complete and utter nonsense that has nothing to do with the topic. Random crap-posting. This isn't limited to BYC, either.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not innocent - I was online during the 2000s', when being completely random was considered high comedy amongst tweens, but it's downright embarrassing to see older teens or even twenty-somethings behaving this way today. It isn't 'Gen Z humor.' It's called being an idiot.
