I was good friends with one of my co-workers back when I worked retail. I was slicing an apple one day at lunch and she warned me to be careful. I told her it shouldn't be a problem since I cut apples all the time. Then she told me they had recently taken one of her sisters to the ER because she had sliced open her hand with a butter knife!

How do you do that with a butter knife?!?!

Some butter knives are slightly serrated. It's plausible.

Our butter knives are serrated enough to cut meat. Most of the plastic utensils I've seen can open you up too. I can easily see this happening if someone was not paying attention.

How about when you have a stellar month, exceed quotas, all is great...then...find out that in reality, all you did by busting your butt to do well, is raise the bar. Yup, now you must meet or beat what you just accomplished. And if you don't, & have 3 months in a row where You don't meet or beat, You get "let go". Thanks alot corporate A-holes.
