Did they ever make a reliable alias system? I know you can do things like add + to make a pseudo email address, but I like having different parts of my online life compartmentalized. Like not using the same email for BYC as I do to file my taxes.

I just have multiple accounts. Between that and firefox / chrome doing aliases and redirects, I'm good

I love my yahoo email. Hate gmail. Never had political ad problems with yahoo. I use the app, though. I would never go on their website, for that reason alone

Yahoo was my first email. Still have it to this day. No app and I don't get political ads or at least not very often.

You're mistaking MS's spam filter as being intended to PREVENT spam. It's really just paid advertising for spammers.
