I just saw a listing with a "digitally enhanced lawn". Dude, come on. Just show the house as it is. Then saw another one with a photoshopped paint job. Why??? WHY??!!!! Makes me irrationally annoyed.

A digitally enhanced lawn. Wow. When someone comes to look at it and sees the lawn (or paint, or whatever they "digitally fixed up"), what will the seller say? Were I looking to buy, I would question the integrity of everything of that place. Or just laugh at the seller and walk away.

I know it! It feels so scammy. Almost the entire state is in a severe drought, so who cares? You see bizarre things like this, and then a few days later, there's a listing with a door mat that says "Go yourself." Maybe the realtor should photoshop that?

Here's a related pet peeve: People keep sending me texts or letters about buying our land. Today I got a text:

"Hey Sally, Alex here. I recently mailed you about your Belding parcel. Wondering if you're still holding onto it for something specific?"

My reply:
"Yeah. The rest of my life."

Take me off your list, Alex. Save us both time, save yourself postage.
