pet starling tips

I'm looking for a pet starling as a companion to my starling. Does anyone have one they'd like to regime? Thanks.

Hello! My name is Valerie and I just saw your post about looking to adopt a darling starling. I have five of them. I am keeping at least one of the females as she is my baby. A friend is considering aspiring two of the boys. That leaves one, possibly two starlings in need of a livinl home.

I hand raised them all. They were no more than 3 days old when I rescued them. They are a month old now. They are flying well, indoors only of course, and they're very energetic and entertaining birds.

I live in Montana.

Anyway, please get a hold of me if you're still looking to adopt a darling starling!

It would be best if you find me on Facebook, add I'm not sure if I'll be visiting this site frequently enough to keep up with any notifications if you respond here.

My name is Valerie Lynn Smith.

You will be able to see photos and videos of my babies they're too!

Hope to hear from you!!

Sincerely, Valerie

My Starlings name is scratch, he fell out of my attic . He was Scratching we open the attic stairs and out fell this baby bird half feathered, half fuzz. I raised him on purina one kitten food the premium kind and gave him hard boiled egg too. Hes about five months old now and we love him. He has such a personality. Loves to perch on my hand, shoulder and be near me but doesnt like personal touch too much. I can occasionally rub his breast, always lets me r ub his feet but too hold him no. He will perch on my finger, crawl up and down my arm and chest, poke in my ears, spread my fingers apart with his beak. He can be loving and funny or testy. He gets testy and makes an im annoyed with you squak when i shoo him off my head as he will poop up there but its the high spot so he likes to perch up there.

Years ago I read a book called "Arnie the Darling Starling." Last time I looked it was not available on Kindle. It was a wonderful book and made me want to have a starling of my own. With 3 cats I'm better off not getting a starling.
