While at Petsmart over the weekend getting some feeder fish I was scoping out the bird toys. Can you give those kinds of toys with seeds & such to chickens?

I am new to chickens but I don't see why not. I bought a pack of plastic balls with bells inside, came home & sanitized & dried them overnight then gave them to the chicks. We also have a hanging thing called "Baby Cake" that is supposed to help them with their pecking need & keep them from doing it to each other & it's chock full of seeds etc... We also gave ours a spray of millet that they loved.

I've been hanging parrot toys in my coops and brooders for years. Even my doves play with the parakeet toys, they really like the bells and mirrors.

(I'm bad enough that my button quail have a large solid rat wheel - they even run in it!)
