Hello there! I've been lurking here for a long time and very much enjoy the chicken chat, it's great and very informative - thank you.
I'm a pet chicken keeper and very much enjoy my ladies. I also have 3 turkeys, two hens and a stag. Everything is the garden is great, they all get on brilliantly. Turkeys are completely different to chickens in everything really! They are so kind, inquisitive, happy and very affectionate. Their vocabulary is really quite vast too. Has anyone else on this great chat room got turkeys running with there chicken flock? Also, now and again it would be great to chat with others with more experience about health aspects etc.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

You really shouldn't mix Turkeys and Chickens together, there are diseases that both species can pass on to the other that are deadly. That's not to say that ALL mixed flocks will be deadly, some birds do become immune to everything. But I would definitely post in our Turkey forums for more help... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/turkeys.20/

So glad you decided to join our community! :-)
