Wouldn't hurt....I've had a Reeves hen that was laying just membraned eggs, increased her calcium intake and they are now all hard shelled eggs...but with the molt that's taking place they won't be fertile! All my male birds are in a hard molt right now....except for my quail.It has been a very ODD year weather wise etc. hopeful that your upcoming hatches go smoothly!!!! My pheasant hens laid well early on, but then stopped abruptly. Last few eggs have been soft shell while other birds’ eggs (duck and quail) are fine. Wondering if just the pheasants need some extra calcium????

That’s amazing!!! Gives me a little hope that maybe some of my previous escapees may have survived even though they did not return. We actually have a bird sanctuary (6 mile island) on the ohio river that’s basically direct flight path from the house and several patches of woods.
