I have a red golden pheasant chick with a deformed left leg. It has been that way since it hatched. It's not splayed leg, but it looks like a hatch defect. It actually looks like the lower leg is dislocated. The toes on the right leg do not work either. I was going to cull this chick but my wife said no. It eats and drinks normally. It's a quick little bird for a one-legged chick. Any suggestions with the exception of euthanization would be appreciated.
