Pheasant damaging beak

Hi all.

I have a young Ring-neck Pheasant that is very violent. It didn't matter what size cage he was in he went after anything that moved and attacked it. If I get within 4 feet of the cage he hisses and any closer and he lunges full speed beak first into the wire walls damaging (slowly wearing away) his beak. Right now he's almost worn through the top and bottom of his beak where the 1/4" mesh wire comes into contact and the tip of his beak is worn to a double point from threatening displaying of pecking and dragging his beak backwards in the dirt while hissing and puffing up to look bigger. I don't know enough about their beaks to know if it'll grow back or if it'll need to be fixed. I was joking with my neighbor about making a Carbon Fiber or Ballistic Kevlar beak and super gluing it on (I told her no ceramic coating as it needs to be baked at 250 degrees - also joking around). Any information would be appreciated as I've lost one and don't want him to die too.

Can you cover the wire with plywood or something similar. Is he in a small cage? I don't think you can fix the beak, just prevent more damage.

I'm not sure how you would cover the wire with wood except to put him in a box. He's on the ground in a 6 square foot cage that's 1' high and I've put a solid roof on so he's not slamming into that. Anything moves and he's off to kill it.

He's destined for a sauna at 350 with potatoes, herbs and butter. I've never seen anything so angry before/ he's like an angry drunk with road rage. I just don't want it to suffer if it injures itself and I don't know the beak growth pattern and if it's going to be a problem. I've read both it will regrow the tip and that it's permanent. Thanks in advance for any further info.
Might just be easier to eat him. I would not want to have a bird like that around. Probably would be impossible to breed from if he's that violent.

Very likely much of his bad temperament is due to the fact that his pen is too small. Given enough space where he could get away and not feel threatened his behavior might be better.

Does anyone know if his beak will heal/grow the tip back?
His original cage was much larger, he's in a smaller one (temporarily)away from motion with a solid lid and grass to hide in hoping he'd chill out. His attitude hasn't changed and he tried to kill anything he's with including the water and feed tubs.

One of my pheasants chipped his beak once, but it grew back.
