Pheasant Eggs In Incubator!! update they did not hatch!!!

I Set My 7 Pheasant Eggs on 1/15 so they should hatch about 2/11 and then tonight I set 3 more due 2/14 and 18 cochins/rir/buff/mixes chicken eggs which are due 2/7ish. I want to get my webcam in the incubator so i can watch the hatch with out the incubator being opened so much! Has Anyone done this safely or is it to late for the batch! I have pictures but not loaded up yet, working on that! I need my duck tape that I use to tape the cam in there! Oh I am winning quail eggs 10+ from ebay right now will know later if I won!! I have 7 empty spaces in there and I have one more row I can add if I can fix the turner row I broke ooops! I will add pictures later!

Second Question is I live IN Alabama, gut on the ebay lives quite close and is PRE-selling Red Golden Eggs and will ship or I can pick up IF i win the bid 12 eggs $9.99 $10 to ship but I would pick-up since he is so close, DO I bid or wait til last minute to bid or talk to them via email and do something other than Ebay later!! I want some to hatch just I can't til A) they lay B) til my bator is empty! Thanks

I would contact them and try to do it outside of ebay it is only a pre sell. So he doesn't have them yet and you being close enough to pick them up it would be easier for both of you. Maybe he has a list going and can just add you.

The Golden Eggs Sorry are 6 not 12 and there are bids now so I emailed them and just asked if we could dea l outside of ebay to get on his list no answer yet!!

Down to 8 Pheasant eggs, two had cracks and was leaking today!!
One had shattered on the small end and oozy and then I candled everyone of them and the second had a crack from top to bottom and around the whole egg and it started leaking ater I picked it up!!!! Shot Shot Shot!!!!! OH well now I have 2 more places for my quail eggs from TX should be her soon!!! How long to Hatch Bobwhite Quail?? Anyone Know Thanks

Bobwhites take 23-24 days...but not all eggs will hatch when they are suppose to. Let the eggs in the bator for at least 3-5 days after hatch day if not longer.

Do you have your pens built for all these gamebirds? And do you have the knowledge it is going to take to raise them? LOL I'm not trying to sound like I'm questioning you just gamebirds are something it seems many people rush into. I can't say I exactly prepared for my first quail...or pheasants...but while the eggs were incubating I was reading....and learning as much as possible. I also now belong to th Gamebird Gazzette magazine.
