Pheasant eggs

Do you have a picture of the mom ?
That might help with finding the right incubation period for the species .
I'll grab some of them candled. This was when my son 1st collected them:( they didn't see them in the alfalfa field until it was too late :(

No pic of mom. But I can ask hubby what she was. He used to hunt pheasants. Pending where she is if she is still there I can ask him to get a lic of her when he finishes the field tomorrow

My husband was wind rowing the field and when they came around the next row they saw they had killed a mama and her nest had 13 undamaged eggs. they collected them and straight away put them in the incubator, I did candle and all had air sacs and veins. I have no idea how long they are into hatch cycle. My son found them watching in the wind rower so he is more than excited. I'm not sure what to do with them besides chicken settings? I had 12 eggs in there already but added them. Crossing fingers 1 hatches for him, he will be devastated. He wants to sell his calf to pay for his babies things lol
Oh bless him ( I got so excited waiting to see if the ones we saved from dog would hatch so I know how he feels turned out dog found them shortly after they were laid I couldn’t tell by candling I’m not experienced enough so just waited day 29 they started ! So good luck x

The pictures are great 👍 . Unfortunately I'm not a expert on pheasant eggs , hopefully someone
With experience can come help out.
The eggs look great !!! I bet some will hatch . Are you incubating them on there side ? If so that's probably the best for them because that's how they were before you found them .

Thank you! I hope so. I have been scouring the internet for similar pics. Yes, on their sides :) I just don't know when to 'lock down'

Good , if you made your own thread asking people what they think about how far along they are you might get more answers than just me answering you, haha .
