Im looking at the area i want to build my 25 x 40 pheasant flight pen. The issue im going back and forth on is this area has 4 HUGE pine trees that would be in the middle. I was thinking of maybe building around the trees and just when i put the netting on the top nail it to the trees to support it from sagging. This would like i said help keep the netting from sagging and give plenty of shelter and shade. Cons the wind blowing may shift the netting but i could leave slack for movement. And branches coming down on the coop. But they are tall and straight. whatcha think...cut em or leave em and incorporate them into the pen??

Certainly find a way to incorporate them, great natural cover and will benefit the birds. Use some type of flexible rubber hosing to prevent the mesh or netting from growing into the bark.
