Pheasant Laws. Need info

I have 4 pet pheasant chicks. All are captive born to captive born to captive born parents who were raised by a breeder in Iowa.
I am heading back to New Mexico soon and want to take them with me but I can't find out the laws pertaining to this.
I contacted Born Free and got a lecture rather than answers. My babies are too friendly to survive in the wild and would probably think hunters or any person has meal worms for them. Please help.

Every state has their own regulations on ringnecks.You will have to check with your local Fish and Game Dept.to see the requirements.
