Pheasant Starter Medicated?

Kalmbach is premium feed. You’ll probably need to grind it up smaller for chicks. I’ve never used medicated for quail but shouldn’t hurt anything.
Zack recommended it. But then I was chatting live (not with Zack but other quail owners) and asking about it and they said you can't eat the eggs until 10 days after they've been off the medicated feed.

What dumb dumbs that were saying this in that chat.
This is just not true.

Medicated feed is not the same as the kinds of medications where you can't eat the eggs for two week after the medication course is finished. I know there are such medications, but they will usually be prescribed by a vet or will have warnings on the labels next to the instructions.

Personally, I don't do medicated feeds, but you should be able to feed them this bag without any harm.

What feed do you use for chicks and for adults?
