The only Bar Ale Turkey/pheasant starter I can find is medicated.I use Bar Ale turkey/pheasant starter for chicks and Bar Ale complete flock with calcium on the side for adults.
If you have a place that carries Bar Ale, you might be able to get them to special order the non-medicated for you. That's what I ended up doing. I actually get my feed from an equestrian supply store, and they order a couple bags of the turkey/pheasant starter just for me and order more when I buy the ones they have. The only Bar Ale Turkey/pheasant starter I can find is medicated.
I don't think I've ever seen Bar Ale in any of the feed stores in Texas and I can't even find a non-medicated Turkey/Pheasant starter on the Bar Ale website. After that bag, you can switch to an all-flock. They should no longer need the higher protein of the starterI think after this bag, I'll get the Kalmbach turkey starter.
