Bought these two from a local auction as Pheonix chicks(white one came with it, I know that ones not a pheonix its huge!) The ones that look the same have 2 different comb types Out of 10 chicks, its 5/5

My questions, what is the white one breed wise?
Are these Pheonix chicks?
What does the different comb types mean? Hens vs roos?

Not all of those chicks are pureblooded phoenix, actually all of them could be cross breeds. Phoenix do not have rosecombs, and I have to agree that the white chick doesn't look like a phoenix either.

The chick with the rosecomb is a male. Males of the black breasted red type tend to have lighter colored heads, blotchy colored chests, thicker legs, and their combs mature faster. The third photo down with the chick that has a darker head stripe, and yellow coming in at the chest is a pullet.
