Hello I am starting this thread because I keep searching for one but the only ones I can find have one or two posts and are 10 years old so I would like to get one started. I started with two pairs of phoenixes from a local breeder that were good quality but I only have a pair of their children right now

This is the pair I have now I will post pictures of the parents they are 7 months old and just started laying but they look small because they were a late season hatch and just hit there growth spurt. I will start hatching soon too

I’m really angry that I can’t find a picture of my one hen she was one of the best phoenixes I’ve ever seen

I don’t know about all strains but the ones I have are some of the best tempered birds.
They aren’t super friendly but they don’t run the roosters will do absolutely anything for the hens and even raise the chicks almost not them the hens

That rooster looks very nice.
the rooster we have now looks to be very good but he carries his wings too low. My rooster is seven months old and his tail is not full yet but he has a very nice tail angle I will try to get more pictures
