phesant hatching egg question

You had better crank the humidity up to 70 percent or the membranes will dry out when they begin pipping and will become trapped in their eggs. Also pheasants hatch anywhere from 23-27 days so don't worry about it but definitely crank up the humidity.
 
Alright I will definetly try. I got alot of water in the incubator but the humidity doesn't seem to want to rise.

Right now, humidity is at 46% and there is alot of water still in incubator.

And I also heard that you aren't supposed to open the incubator during lockdown, is that true?
 
That is right try not to open it during lockdown because it lets out vital humidity and like I said before and dry out the membranes but in this case you have no pips yet so you should be fine
 
if you don't have sponges, you can twist up a paper towel to wick water up and add surface area to increase humidity
