I know there are a number of outlaw chicken keepers in Philadelphia (like myself). If you haven't already signed this petition, please do so. It is nearing the 500 person mark, which is what the organizers hope to hit before they approach city council.

I believe non-Philadelphians are welcomed to sign as well.

Philadelphia politics tend to be slow to change and prone to corruption, so I can only hope!

The only saving grace is that animal control is over extended, and they tend to only enforce noise or sanitation complaints.
