Calling out for any Phoenix Arizona duck owners! My pekin duck currently is struggling with a case of bumble foot. I’ve tried every possible remedy you can think of like epson salt, munka honey, tricide-neo, vetcricyn plus, neosprin, etc... I know that at this point she is going to need a surgery to remove them. I am very fearful of doing it on my own. If there is any duck Phoenix duck owners out there with some bumblefoot experience and are willing to help, it would be so greatly appreciated. Or if you know of any good vets in the Phoenix area that you could recommend. At this point, I am willing do anything. I just want her to be okay 🥺.

majestic waterfowl sanctuary has a list of places that care for ducks and you could probably ask them about vets in your area
They responded with the same link they already have that does not list Arizona. And with a link to a website about using Thermazene Silver Sulfadiazine Cream 1%,. I don’t know here is a picture of how the bumblefoot looks now. Is it even possible for it to go alway with just ointment?

that looks more like a bad cut and not bumblefoot, daily epsom salt soaks and the cream on it after each soak (wrap her foot if possible) and she should be healed soon

here is an old picture of when my duck has bumblefoot, there is a dot in the middle. i’ve heard of people saying not cleaning the coop enough can cause ammonia burns on their feet, could she have that by any chance?

I am going to try to get her that Silver Sulfadiazine Cream cream to see, if it works better for her.

I use to have mulch as their flooring which I think is what cause the problem. As soon as I noticed her feet, I switch to grass for their flooring in their coop. I make sure to spray away all their poop every morning.
