Hi New member! I have a small flock (under 20 that I bought at McMurrays day old. I had chickens in the past. Ithwy are almost therapeutic to me. Happy chickens give happy eggs. Mine are all colored layers of different breeds. I have 3 Roos to sell/trade.4mos old. Would trade 2 for a young lavender or cemani hen.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Good looking boys. It's decidedly difficult to trade a cockerel for a pullet or hen.
Well I would sell them. The black and white ones (the more athletic ones are blues - a mix of leghorn and something else) the other one was a mystery chicken. Looks to be a meet bird. I probably have some more Roos in the flock and was thinking about processing them. But can’t get through (mentally) the first step (hugging cone). SIGH. In the past I gave them away if they go aggressive with the girls. But now I am in a place where roosters are not allowed. I keep
The crower in my bathroom at night until I have a solution….

Welcome to BYC!

Would you be able to eat them if somebody else processed them for you?
Be very careful about bringing adult birds into your existing flock because you have a much higher chance of bringing disease in when you do.
