I have a BBRed Rooster and Gold Hen, out of this, I get BBRed, Gold and Occasionally White.

I have a Silver Pair and of Course get Silver.

I have a third Silver male and have held a White Female to go with him.

What colors could I possibly get if I cross the Silver on the White and then add a Gold female?

I would like to end up with trios on each.
I could put a Gold female with each Silver Male and a Silver Female with the BBRed Male.

So what are the likely colors from these crosses? Just wondering if that is the best thing to do?

BBR can go over white, black, light brown, and gold with nice results.
Silver males can go over white and silver hens, but if you can stay away from adding in the gold as you tend to develope neither a gold nor a silver duckwing and create a blond coloring in your hackles and saddles.
Golden males can also go over white and gold, and light brown, I've even put them over blacks with some lovely birds appearing.
Currently awaiting a hatch of Ruby red over white. Will let you know how that goes. TTYL J.J.
Ps how are the kids?

Hey,
Where you been? The "kids" are ROTTEN!!!!!!! My other Silver Male is turning out nicely, I am glad I listened to you and did not get rid of him, his attitude of late has not been nice, I hope that changes once I get him a couple of girls.

Just been busy here at the ranch. Ive been prepairing a bazzilion hides for tanning in the spring. WE had our hay barn fall down. Its ok though we are going to rebuild when all this stupid snow melts. WE had over 76 inches of the white fluffy stuff in the month of December. Its all still sitting here on the ground. WE started batching our goats milk soaps for an Easter blow out sale, and busy planning the garden, hatches etc.... Not alot of time for computering. TTYL J.J.
