Phoenix ID?

Bishopschickens - True Cubalaya are not lanky birds, my friend. They are birds of "stately" carriage. Perhaps yours are not true cubalaya?

Pardon his legs, the are usually white but it'd been very muddy recently when I took that photo.

A close up of his head:

I do not believe there is cubalaya in your smaller combed rooster. The whole of the body would look very different as the cubalaya traits are very strong and tend to dominate in crosses. It is possible he could have some yokohama in him. Everything but his comb suggests black breasted red phoenix.

A game, maybe.. But i wouldn't say Old english or they'd be single comb.. Old english come with white legs and a single comb.

ETA: You mentioned them giving blue eggs, so that means they are neither games, or phoenixs.. They all or most lay white/brown tinted eggs... Cubalayas do also i believe, Cuban correct me if i am wrong.. The only bird i know with the blue egg, or green egg gene comes from Aracaunas, ameracaunas, and their crosses "EEs, etc". Which would explain the peacomb...

DTchickens,

I was told they came from blue/green eggs. I bought a collection of stuff and my son wanted some Americaunas for the coloured eggs but they weren't hatching any and suggested we take these 6 birds. No harm done if they don't lay coloured eggs but I am interested in knowing what they might be. They aren't laying yet.

I'll post some pics of my phoenix bantams tomorrow if possible. It has rained horrilbly today. But this will give you a good idea of what to look for in them. They are only 3-4 months old and already have 10-12 inch tails or better, even the hens are pushing 8-10.
I'm still sticking to the cubalaya, or maybe the yokos, in a cross of some sorts. Does kind of resemble a bb red game roo too?
