I have to say the tails are entirely too high at any age. However I will also say this. The german lines carrying multiple feathers will sometimes depending on age rise up do to molt. The weight consistently with standard size birds finishing between 5 and 7 lbs for males at 2 years old. Bantams are quite a bit smaller. They have used alot of dutch and oeg in bantams For now just enjoy your birds. Feed them, house them and read read read about longtails and their care. Regardless of quality a longtail fancier must start somewhere. Welcome to the addiction.
