Thank you for replies. Looks like he is lively this morning and has eaten. What country is this forum based in ? I am in Australia.
Here's the poor guy. He used to look so beautiful. The wounds were bright red until we put the powder on so they dont show as well. The leg one is to the bone and there are no feathers around his neck at all when stretched.

This forum is based in the US.

He looks like half his feathers are gone giving him a "large head" look.
Is he underweight also?

I hope he heals up.
I had a hen grabbed by a neighbor's dog. No marks on her. She died within half an hour.

Maybe some chicken vitamins added to his water would be a good idea also.

Naked chicken skin is always red.

I'd keep him warm and quiet. Hope he heals up well.
