For a second I was all excited thinking you had a Mahogany Faverolle, but I'm sorry to say, I'm pretty sure that's just a poorly colored Salmon.

Still, very cute chickens!

That's okay, she's one of my most consistant layers. I feel bad for her because she's the lowest in flock. I thought she would stay "above" the new pullets, in rank, but I see that she's slipping by the day. Are they supposed to be so shy?

Yeah I've heard of them being pretty mellow, which is what can cause being low in the rankings of the flock. Poor girl. Over here we have a "one and only" New Hampshire who was picked on a lot, so now she's truly free ranging around the yard. (They all "free range" on 3 acres of pasture, but the New Hamp hen gets the front lawn too.
