I'm gonna share some pictures of my 3 Phu Phan chicks that are now about 6 weeks old! :love

I couldn't really tell them apart at all in the beginning so I put some vet wrap bands in different colors around their legs: white, blue and black.
They were all very skittish and flighty the first week or so, which discouraged me a bit because this is only my second group of chicks I've raised, and I was spoiled by my first chicks cause they were from the get-go so incredibly docile and easygoing. So I though for sure that these ones would continue to always be flighty and wary of me.
But I hated the thought of the chicks being afraid of me, so I spent a lot of time getting them used to being around me and it only took about a week until they were completely fine!
Well.. two of them still doesn't like being handled, but at least they aren't scared of me! :ya
And Onu, the one with the white vet wrap, is making up for his siblings dislike of being handled by being extra extra cuddly! He always wanted to come out, and whenever I lifted him up he'd chirp happily and fall asleep in my hand.
One of those times he suddenly started to dust bath in my hand, and then it just became a thing and now he does it often when he's with me. He's killing me with his cuteness! :hit

So for those of you who thinks that watching a chick being absolutely adorable sounds like a good idea; here's a little snuggle montage of Onu! :love

After a few weeks I could remove the blue and black leg bands from the chicks, cause Black has such odd looking wings that it's easy to tell him apart from his siblings (and then Onu still has the white leg band and Blue is the unmarked one).
Why his wings are that way I have no idea at all. When he was little I figured it would resolve itself with time, but it still hasn't so I tried to look up wing issues in chicks but couldn't find anything. There was angel wing, but it looked more like the feathers got heavy and eventually bent outwards.. with this ones wings it's almost like they overbend making some of his feathers go straight up.
You can see in this video what his wings look like when they are relaxed - when I stretch them out - and then when they go back to being relaxed.

It doesn't seem to bother him at all, he's playing with his siblings and flap around and is just like any other chick. So I'm at a loss what could be the cause of his wings looking like this

Although he has wonky wings his eyes are just gorgeous!!
