I think it would depend on what you're breeding for. Some people are just looking for interesting colors, some want to breed to a standard. You might want to check out some genetics threads to try to find out what colors you might get from different crosses.

Your chickens are beautiful.

The plan is to cross this beautiful rooster with my female Ayam cemani as the hen he is with is his sister I'm new to this and ive been told I need to swap them around so he has to go with the cemani

Chickens can safely inbreed for a few generations without any deformities in the offspring popping up.
