Pic of Bojangles my blue barred cochin cockerel, what do you think?

First off, I don't have a good camera so the pic quality is not good. (it is on my Christmas list

) But having said that I would love some input on this fellow. Just wondering how close to standard he is. In these pics he is about 6 months old. I am going to try and get the pic on - had trouble last time - dreaded red X!

The exhibition cochins I saw at the Ohio National had loose feathering and a lot of it. They resembled a big ball of feathers.

His feathering is a little too tight and streamlined.

I think he is fluffier now that he is older. need to try and get a few more recent pics, I know he isn't show quality, just wondered how far off he is.

I think he looks good for a non-standard color. He has good barring, I was picturing a blue cuckoo when I saw the title. If you want to go further with the project you could cross him to some nice show type blacks.

What would I get from that cross? Just wondering... I am always up for experimenting..
