This is a pic of my nice little homemade hatcher. Very simple, a light bulb, Styrofoam Box, Welded Wire Rack and a dimmer switch. I use a flat dish of water and keep the sponge wet from vent holes in top. I use a straw. You can see humidity is 65 but this particular unit is off by 9 % and I have it marked.
As I am typing this little one is just about to make a great escape. He has finished unzipping the shell and is pushing just about ready to emerge. Lets hope tomorrow will bring a few more of these eggs to this point. So far I don't see any more pips. It is only day 20 however.
