Pic of my 8 week Production Red

I'm new to chicken keeping, so when I bought my day or 2 old chicks I had to take pics to document how they change. I got both egg and meat birds, but the egg layers get the attention.

Anyway, I've been taking pics every 2 weeks of them, and today I got one I really like, so I thought I'd share. It's not all that spectacular, but for what I've been able to capture, its darn good.

Here's Red (Yes, creative name, I know.)

Umm, I just realized none of the pictures of the other girls show them with such a big comb and waddles. Do you think Red is a roo?

I guess that would make sense that I roo would be more inclined to checking out what's happening with a camera.

I started a thread in the what gender area and someone that had a picture of 3 month old Production Red hens showed me that this is definitely a roo. I've been told that when buying pullets that sometimes this happens. I'm still happy with the pic.
