Pic Uploading Change?

When uploading more than one picture, I used to be able to hit the "back" button and the page would maintain the size of the pictures I was uploading so I didn't have to use the drop down menu to select it again. Since the "Recent Uploads" feature has been added, hitting the back button takes you back to the page to select another picture, but the size has changed back to the default. I am just wondering if there is any simple way to get it back to the way it was? I know this is nit picky but I am old and set in my ways!
