Picked leg feathers.

Hello, BYC! I have a white sultan who has had some of her leg feathers picked, and it was bleeding. I cleaned the leg off and put no-pick lotion on her. Any ideas on how to stop this? She’s in with different breeds. Thanks!

To really solve the picking problem, you need to observe your flock and figure out which chickens are fixated on the lag feathers.

Pinless peepers solve this issue better than anything I've tried to come up with in eleven years of keeping chickens.
