Picked up some POLISH! chicks! NAMING CONTEST! WINNERS!!!

READ 2ND POST FOR CONTEST!

I went to a local poultry auction to see about selling a couple of my Cochin cockerels and ended up winning a batch of 12 little blue/black/white Polish chickies! I don't know their genders yet, but they look pretty good to me! They are the cutest little things with those little pompoms on their heads!

I'm turning this thread into a naming contest! If this isn't in the right section, mods please move it.

Anyway, I was thinking of naming them after the people of the Capitol in the Hunger Games, but I can't come up with 12 names... I already also have a 1 yr old hen named Effie.

I will get pictures of each one individually and the naming can commence! I will choose winners on JULY 3RD 2012!

I will get the pics up numbering the chicks 1-12 and you can name them accordingly matched to their number to make it easier on both of us

Hunger Games names are cute! Theres always Prim, Rue, Peeta, Gale, umm... Thresh? Glitter? Other tribue names?

My current theme with my Polish is "gangsta'" and "in-the-hood" names- Shaniqua, Shanaynay, Matthias and Tyrone. Future name plans include Shakira and La--ah (La 'dash' ah)

I have a hen named (used to) Primrose and I had a roo named Peeta haha I like the hood names haha!

The crown idea is cool, animallover!

I have about 10 polish that will need names soon too! (My avatar is picture of 1.) They're 5 weeks old now. Fun little guys. They're old enough now that their afros are kind of jiggling when they walk and peck.
