I am VERY new to this. But I am taking in 6 hens today. I do have a coop, but it seems to be missing a few items (see pics). I am not really sure where to put the roosting bars. Also where to put the nesting boxes. I need to get this ready asap! The hens are 2 months old currently.

The area will be enclosed with chicken wire. Not counting the coop itself, its about 11' x 20'. The coop itself is about 6' x 3' I believe.

I need a shopping list! I have been reading everything i can, but I am short on time. if someone would give me a short to-buy/to-do list so I can get this done asap, i would be extremely grateful!

I'd measure that coop. Looks small for 6 RIR's.
But your location might allow less room if you live in a warmer climate and the gals won't be cooped up for days at a time because of frigid weather.
Also, forget chicken wire. Any predator can crawl through the opening, or rip it apart if they can't fit. Use 1/2" x 1/2" hardware cloth around the entire coop and a apron along the ground extending out 24".

Bigger coop id say. As for a shopp i ng list, your going to need anti biotics for any injuries that may accur (i use blue kote, and vetrycyn for mine), monthly worming medicine, and I dont know about others, but my past rhode island reds had a huge problem pecking at each other in our large coop during the winter, so ide heget something to prevent that. I use pine tar and it seemed to have worked.

Scrap the chicken wire, it's only for keeping chickens out of things, not for protecting them.

The coop is small, you're measuring the entire footprint when the coop portion is only the enclosed part. You can try modifying it so that the entire enclosure becomes the coop, by removing all the internal walls, then adding new external walls over the wire where needed (against the prevailing wind direction), then running a new roost lengthwise across the unit. Nest box would probably have to be attached externally by cutting an access hole through the wire.
