Picking up a female Pekin today

Morning all,
I'm picking up a female Pekin that is from Easter of '07.

The woman I'm getting her from says she's laying big, pretty white eggs. My question is how long do ducks continue to lay?

Ducks can lay well for years. I have several who are 4 years old laying like mad. Pekins will lay less, but for a long while. My Miss Matilda Pekin Duck lays very well and she is over 5 years old.
I love pekin girls. I wish I had more. They are so ....quacky!
