Picking up Chicks (baby chicks that is)

I just read where someone was talking about picking up and holding the chicks and the chicks liked that. Is that sometihing that I should do? i have 25, so I don't know that I am going to be able to pick them all up. Ideas?

It's a personal thing... I rarely pick up babies and just let mama raise them like chickens... but some folks like to hold their birds... if you want to, go for it... if not, they will be just as happy and healthy... or go the half way and hand feed them and then sometimes they will just jump up on your lap to be fed. You choose!
