Picking up my new Guinea keets this afternoon

My youngest Pied Royal Purple is already huge now, at almost 2 weeks old, so I couldn't get a pic of the flight feathers growing in like I was hoping, cuz they are already grown in, lol. I looked thru all my pics of all my Pied Royal Purple keets and I can't find any pics that show the baby feathers clearly enough either

But here's a pic of a young Pied Royal Purple before feathers showing the narrower head stripe area, and a bunch of pics of older Pied Royal Purple keets that show the white flight feathers and narrower head stripe areas pretty good too. (Sorry if I went overkill on the pics, lol)

If I remember right, the keet on the far left in this pic turned out to be only a little bit Pied (and I sold her)

This is my youngest Pied Royal Purple I have right now... he's growing fast.

Picked up 13 white keets today, they are 5 weeks old. I was thinking I needed 8-10 to make a good flock, so asked for 12 and received 13. So how many is too many? I hear too many are noisy but I want them to feel comfortable in their little gang.

I plant to keep them isolated for 4 weeks and cooped for 8 weeks before letting them free range. Does anyone thing they should be cooped up longer? It was dark when I got home, I will post pics in the morning.
