I found a guy selling a Pickwick Model HPD and a fiberglass scalder. He said they are in very good condition. He wants $400.00 for both.
Has anyone ever used that type of plucker?
Does the price sound good?
Is it worth buying for 100 chickens per year?

If the picker works, do it! Normal pluckers run (at least) over $800.00; if they are throwing in a scalder, what's holding you back?

I was also wondering if the tub style plucker was better then the pickwick style
