pics are needed! Can't take any on my computer... see crack on egg NEED TIPS!!

Okay but I don't want to open the incubator because some people say that the rush of air from outside the incubator can kill the unhatched embryos... Is there a way to do that without killing the eggs? I can't make the bathroom all steamy because my incubator is in my bedroom. Do u have an idea?

yes no air in the embrio means it will be dead so candle all around to make sure.

You are right to be cautious of opening the incubator but it should be fine, I have even opened the incubator while chicks have been zipping, just avoid doing it too much and only if necessary. This would count as one of those times.
I actually have a spray bottle set to a fine mist that I use to spray around the incubator before I open it, quickly take out the egg, close it and the humdity will go back to what it was within 20 seconds just repeadedly opening it or leaving it open longer than a few seconds is bad but don't worry about doing it this time.
